South Sydney Tenants’ Advice & Advocacy Service is funded by the Office of Fair Trading as part of the NSW Tenants Advice and Advocacy Program.  Providing information and advice on the rights and obligations of tenants and also assisting tenants who live in the local government area of Bankstown, Canterbury, Rockdale, Hurstville, Kogarah and Sutherland.  Current Session worker: Rachel McCormick. Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Services (Tuesday)

WDVCASs help to address the legal and social needs of women and children experiencing domestic violence (DV) by assisting women and children to obtain legal protection from NSW Local Courts in the form of an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order, making referrals, and working with local community NGO’s. ATO Tax Help – July to November

The Australian Tax Office utilise the services of volunteers to offer a free and confidential service to help people complete their tax returns.  The volunteers are trained and accredited by the ATO and attend the Rockdale Centre from July to October.
