Part-Time – 14 to 21 hours per week

ADS is an NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) registered provider providing the following services:

  • Support coordination
  • Community Participation
  • Development life-skills
  • Assist persona activities
  • Assist – Life Stage Transition

These programs support people with disabilities to live independently in the community, in particular people from CALD background.

We are currently seeking an NDIS Support Coordinator to join our Aged and Disability Team. The NDIS Support Coordinator will work with NDIS participants, that is people with disabilities (and their families/carers) living with varying conditions and levels of complexity. The primary role of the Support Coordinator will be to support NDIS participants to build capacity to coordinate their NDIS plans, navigate, negotiate appropriate support and services, and connect with community support and mainstream services.

This position requires a strong understanding of the NDIS and experience in coordinating individualised support to people with disabilities and their carers, strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to respond to crisis situations, conflict resolution/negotiation skills to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

  1. Demonstrated Commitment to ADS values and philosophy, and person-centred practise;
  2. Tertiary qualification in disability studies, social work, welfare or relevant field;
  3. Sound understanding of the disability-related legislation, NDIS and the full range of services that may be required by participants;
  4. Demonstrated skills in case coordination/management;
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with and form collaborative relationships with all stakeholders;
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiation, advocacy and report writing;
  7. Be committed to professional and ethical conduct;
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of the highly interactive aged care team;
  9. Ability to respond to crisis situations, use conflict resolution skills, think creatively to solve problems;
  10. Be proficient with technology and have a workable knowledge of databases;
  11. Current NSW driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle with insurance for work.


  1. Bilingual;
  2. Previous experience working with people with disabilities;
  3. First Aid certificate.
