Thank you for supporting the work of Advance Diversity Services

Your gift today will make a positive difference to our work with individuals and families of all ages and many cultures living in South Eastern Sydney, St George, the Sutherland Shire, and inner Sydney.

Learn to Drive Program

As a newly arrived refugee, I know that getting my driver’s licence would free me to get to job interviews, English classes and cultural activities while also getting my grandmother to her doctor’s appointments. But learning to drive is expensive.

Your donation to ADS’s Learn to Drive Program would give me:

• subsidised driving instructor hours

access to volunteer driving mentors

an ADS vehicle for supervised practice, and

a TAFE course on road rules and safety

Please DONATE to help migrants and refugees like me gain the keys to freedom.

Domestic and Family Violence

Family and Domestic Violence is not OK – and we’ve heard many stories like Rana’s …

‘My husband kept me isolated from the community and subjected me to physical, psychological and financial abuse. His extended family harassed me too. It was horrible. I escaped but felt scared of the police and of experiencing further trauma if I reported my husband’s violence. Emergency vouchers from ADS supported me at my greatest hour of need, when I was ineligible for income support and extremely vulnerable. Thanks to ADS, I now live independently and have a full-time job. I feel empowered and safe.’

Your DONATION helps ADS to assist people like Rana to live a new life, violence-free.

Advance Diversity Services – Programs

We’re grateful for the generosity of those who partner with us to provide much-needed funds that:

Enhance our work with multicultural seniors – which includes care at home and offering regular outings and social activities that build friendships and support their wellbeing.

Support our programs for young people – many of whom have arrived here as refugees and humanitarian entrants from war-torn countries.

Enrich the lives of people living with a disability – assisting them to participate in the community and live safely and happily as they wish.

Offer valuable support to parents and children – through parenting classes, play sessions, and information forums.

Equip new arrivals to settle happily in our region – through the provision of vital information about housing, employment and health services, education and training opportunities, government processes and support, and much more.
