We are currently seeking to employ Bilingual Case Worker for our Help at Home Services. This position requires experience in casework within the aged care sector, has the ability to manage a demanding caseload and working with a range of key stakeholders, and to effectively engage with CALD communities.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Fluent in English and Macedonian
  2. Tertiary qualifications in Aged Care, Community Services or relevant field
  3. Experience in casework in the aged  including assessment and care planning
  4. Demonstrated skill  in CALD community engagement
  5. Highly developed written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  6. Demonstrated Commitment to  person centre practice
  7. Sound knowledge of community aged care industry including Act, policies and standards
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as an effective member of the highly interacted aged and disability service team
  9. Sound computer literacy including CRM
  10. A current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance for work
  11. A current National Police/Criminal Check or willingness to obtain one

Desirable Criteria:

  1. First Aid certificate
  2. Previous experience in working with people with disability

Fixed term Full-time up to 30 June 2018 with a potential extension

Advance Diversity Services Settlement and Community Services Program is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide support and settlement assistance to newly arrived young migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants living in St George and Sutherland areas; so they become self-reliant and participate equitably in Australian society.



  1. Hold an accredited degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services related field;
  2. At least 3 years proven experience in a management role within the community setting;
  3. Proven leadership, staff management with a diverse workforce;
  4. Solid understanding of settlement and community services;
  5. Policy writing and advocacy experience;
  6. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, managing compliance requirements and meeting contractual obligations;
  7. Ability to develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
  8. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  9. High level of computer literacy;
  10. A current NSW driver’s licence and access to own vehicle with comprehensive insurance for work purposes
  11. A current Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)


  1. Experience in case work service delivery;
  2. Experience in domestic violence sector;
  3. CALD community engagement experience;
  4. Sound experience in securing significant funding.
